At only twenty-one years of age, Julie has established an international career, winning first prize in all the national competitions she has attended, and also winning prizes in Italy, Germany and in United States. She has participated in masterclasses with Lazar Berman, Claude Frank, Anatol Ugorski and John O'Connor and has toured all the European cities, America, South America, Asia and Australasia, playing in great halls like Verizon Hall, Wigmore Hall and the Kennedy Center.
Born in October 1986, Julie started playing the piano at the age of four. Her remarkable talent for the instrument was soon evident and led her from an early start with her first piano teacher, Ruth Patey, via Mark Nippierd, to professor Einar Steen Nøkleberg in Norway. At age 13 she moved to America and was a student at the Temple University in Philadelphia, where she studied with the great Jerold Frederic. At age 16 she was accepted into The Royal Academy of Music in London where she graduated with first class honors in 2008. The year 2008-2009 will be devoted to a Masters of Music at the RAM where she continues to study with Professor Christopher Elton, head of the keyboard department.
